Tire Size for 22 inch wheels

hey all....im new to this forum as i just purchased a commander. i want to put a set of 22 inch wheels on it so my question is will a 265/40R22 tire fit without rubbing? anyone have any experience with this tire size? i could always get a 35 profile tire but id rather a little more rubber if it'll work because the roads here in NY arent so great....thanks

Welcome to the boards 08RME!

The 265/40-22 is a recommended tire size for the Commander. You just need to make sure the wheels you buy have the correct offset. This will help insure that you do not rub. The most popular fitment for a 22" set up is 22X9.5 w/ 40mm offset wrapped in 265/40-22s.
