New Wheels and Tires for the Commander

Sooo... I am looking at new wheels and tires. I really like the look of the stock wheels but I want something new and not corroded. Darn Michigan and Missouri winters. I also drive around on our property a lot and like having the 8 or 10 ply tires. I will add a 2 or 2.5 inch lift/leveling kit. I understand the concepts of backspacing and offset... but the math just eludes me when figuring out a larger wheel size with a different sized tire. Would something like this work? Or should I stick to the 17 wheels? I don't see many people going with larger wheels, mostly just taller/wider tires?

Honestly @brattrw, I think you'd be better off with a 17 inch tire, with thicker sidewalls (like a LT tire) and a more aggressive tread pattern.

The tread pattern on those Coopers looks awfully tame if you're going to be trail-riding and driving in snow.
