Another CRD here.

You have to expand our poll with the CRD for us foreigners.

The merc V6 3 liter diesel has 218 hp and 510 nm. Not sure hva that is in lbft. (its a lot) Its fun to overtake others in excess of 60 mph uphill towing a one ton trailer, still under 2500 revs.

Had a WJ with the 4,7 liter a couple of years ago. Lovely engine I really miss. Though the fuel consumption... Gas cost 2 usd a liter (almost 10 usd a gallon?) over here.

Bought the Hemi although I would have taken either V8. Get 13.6-8 short suberbs, and 16.5-18 highway burning 93 octane. Get about 2 mpg better with 93 and about break even. Carry 4 people a lot on highway trips and can`t even tell they are there. I do like this crusier.

Another UK diesel here and very pleased with the performance balance. Getting 23mpg average regularly. Great off road or cruising at 100mph on motorways fully loaded. Very refined for a diesel and lots of fun.

got a v6 because it was the only commander I could find in my price range. put on a CAI and noticed a jump in throttle response and fuel economy right away, putting on a new muffler soon so hopefully I'll see the benefits. overall, extremely happy with the jeep. just trying to see how many MPGs i can eek out of it

I've been getting between 16 and 19 average but hopefully the muffler and the new iridium spark plugs will raise that...

K&N CAI, shorty antenna, brush guard with twin Hella 500FF halogens, OEM fog lights (I did it so it's a mod

I've had 4.7l's in the past and in other vehicles and i wish i would have got it in this one...the 3.7 isn't bad but more power is never bad.
