Manual to Automatic Climate Control

Does anyone if you can change from Manual to Automatic Climate control simply by replacing the dash control unit? I have seen the Automatic Climate control unit on a few sites and seems like a cheap and worthwhile mod (~$80). However, this seems too easy.....

Unfortunately it does seems too easy........ Before I bought the XK I had a 2007 Grand Cherokee Laredo. I had the same thought and bought an unit online since I could get a good deal. After buying the unit I found out that the wiring harness is completly different. In other words, it's not going to work by just switching the units. You'll have the switch the wire harness as well and that is going to be very expensive and difficult.
