Lower dash panel removal

I would like to remove the lower panel under the steering wheel. Any hints? Thx Mark

Pull down by the steering column and it opens downward, it's hinged at the bottom.

I think you just pull down on the panel.

Thanks guys, I'll give it a try tomorrow. Want to mount a bracket on that panel and want to make sure I don't drill into anything "special".

Nice feature .. I didn't know that .. I just checked and mine has no Glock though .. you're right it must be optional

Seriously there's quite a bit of room under there though .. I have tools squirreled away in every available space in the Commander ... might be some room for another little tool case in there!
