Aftermarket Moonroof and skylights?

My Commander came without the moonroof and skylights. However, I want them. I know there are aftermarket moonroofs out there, but wonder if there is a way to put in the skylights too?

WTH? Why didn't you just get a commander that had them? Seems like WAAAAYY too much $$$ and labor to have them put in aftermarket.......and don't get me started on leaks.......

I agree, with so many Commanders out there with sunroofs I would never attempt to install an aftermarket one. You will never be happy with it.

Have had the aftermarket sunroof since ~April. Still looks and works great. Been through lot's of rain, snow, and ice here in Madison and not any leaking at all. Just note, the only part they can't make perfect (but they did a pretty good job) is the two ridge bumps on the non-sunroof models.

Ouch - I come from the opposite extreme - all I wanted was the Hemi. And I got Sunroof and skylights, leather seats, headlight dimmers and onners, rainsensing whatnots, quadra trac II and gobs of who knows whatelses...

Really? Some of you people think it looks retarded without the sunroof and skylights? I hate sunroofs and don't see anything good about them, but wouldn't tell you your car looks retarded because of it. Especially given that most people can't even see them when they're looking at the vehicle. How many people are taller than a Commander? Maybe instead of infesting the thread with your opinions on whether he should have bought a different vehicle or not you can take a cue from durkinma and actually help out our fellow forum member.

And pnstps, you never read all of the threads on this forum about people with water leaks all over their vehicles? All coming from the factory sunroof....

Good luck on your quest LegalNinja

Thanks

Red Commander, thanks for putting things in perspective. The response from PNSTP is what keeps people from wanting to get involved with these forums. They use these forums as a tool, to be a tool. Great job. By the way, this is my first post, too bad it had to be about this crap. Thanks again.
