its black alright. I'm not a chrome fan, (dipped my chrome grille) but it seems a little plain to me like that...

I've been looking for ways to change my interior look too, since I have the hideous fake wood grain. I have to agree that it does seem a bit plain just plastidipped, which is why I'm looking at using a carbon fiber wrap or something instead.

Yeah ive never been a fan of woodgrain wrapped plastics. My escalade has a lot of them unfortunately. I much prefer the carbon/black/chrome look ive got in my XK sport. Though the wood steering wheel and HUD are way better in the caddy... my XK's steering wheel is deteriorating and its driving me nuts.

This is how I did mine. It's a little dirty at the moment. I don't like the carbon fiber anymore, I'll change it eventually but...

I agree.....hate the fake plastic woodgrain look and as I've said many times on this forum, I'm not a fan of the blackout look either for the interior or the exterior - but everyone has their own taste.

I don't have any more cosmetic plans for my interior, pretty happy with it how it sits.

I do want to get a HAM Radio installed at some point, and I still have to get my 10 inch passive bazooka tube installed - but that's down the road a bit.
