Before and After

Here are a few before and after photos of my Dark Khaki Pearl Commander. It is a work in progress, I will post more photos once I'm done with it.

November 2005

I added the chrome door handles and the chrome strips for the back tailgate lift in July.

In the past month I have added the chrome door strips and the "fake" chrome part that fits under the front bumper.

My husband changed out the Khaki grill when we bought it, but I do not have any front before pictures.

Re: Before and After

Thank you. I'm trying hard to bond with this vehicle. We have a 2003 H2 and my husband wanted me to trade the jeep in on a H3. I was going to do it until I realized that I did not like the H3 any better than I liked my jeep. So, I took the down-payment money that I had and just bought a few items with it and now I like the jeep soooo much better. I have a set of chrome taillight covers on back-order and I just ordered the chrome bug gard. I plan on adding a few more items, but I'm just doing it one thing at a time. I will post more pictures as I add more stuff.

Re: Before and After

Have your handles fallin off yet, like in a car wash or somthing? mine i had to superglue them on, they fell off every single second, it was really a bad experience for me, im like hoping each day they dont fall off again

Re: Before and After

Avsfan33~

I did not buy the real chrome door handles, mine are made out of the stuff that the grill is made out of. I call it "fake" chrome, which means that it is not too heavy. I have washed my car several times without any problems. The handles of my jeep to begin with were the rough textured plastic one, they were not painted. All that is holding the cover on is a thin layer of double sided tape, but before I applied the covers I cleaned the handles with an alcohol pad. I hope that this helps.

Thumbs up Re: Before and After

The door handles look great. I was thinking of putting them on my black limited but was not sure if it would be too much or look cheap. How do they look up close? I cannot believe on a limited with all the crome accents they did not think of putting crome door handles on in production. I would like to see some picks of the tail light guards when you get them.

Thanks
