Larger side mirrors

Hello all. Where can i buy side mirrors that are this large? I find the driver's side view mirror a bit small, add to that it's mirror is not the "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" type.

I've attached a pic of the big ones I saw of a demo unit. I can't seem to find where to buy them.

They don't need to be the exact type, but at least something larger than the stock of the 2007 model.

Thanks!

I'm always looking at side mirrors that may work. I drive my boss's 06-08? chevy diesel (2500?) and they look like they have the same general shape door and window. They could probably be made to fit with some custom brackets. The superduty doors and window seems way different. The newer ford van mirrors look good too.
If any OEM mirrors could be made to work with out being "gheto" that would be a good option. It would give the truck a bigger excursion type facade.

I've wanted to bump up the mirror size on mine as well. I've been looking into the 05-08 Ram mirrors that flip vertically as a towing option. But I haven't been able to get ahold of one and compare.

Overall, I haven't found an aftermarket replacement bigger than stock. Not even from MOPAR.

I just went to Partstrain.com and looked up the Ram mirrors. They do have a similar triangular base. That would be a great solution for towing. I have to strap some not so stable towing mirrors to get a decent view with my trailer attached.

What I would like, in addition to increased sized, is turn signals on the mirrors also. I feel DC really missed the boat on that by leaving it off..

You would think turn indicators in the mirrors would be mandatory on a vehicle of a certain size like ours. Espicially since this model is not very old.

Just as an FYI, Muth Signal Mirrors are the OEM for Ford, GM, etc., but they do not make them for Jeeps. However, they do make a "universal fit" round wide angle signal mirror in amber and red. They stick on to the existing mirrors, including heated. Installed, they run less than $200.00.

The "other countries" version of the XK has fender mounted turn indicators (like on BMW's). I believe that is why DC did not invest the money in mirror indicators. It's cheaper and easier to install. I wouldn't be surprised to find that behind the fender is a space or punch out for this. Has anyone checked?

Also, power folding mirrors and rear fog lights are other country options not available to us here as stand alone options. Oh, and don't even get me started on the diesel engine! Go figure.

Goo... a disel XK would be fantastic! That'll be an interesting engine swap.

Yeah, the flip ups have the same tri-mount as well. I'm not too sure they'll mount flush though.

While those are cool..

Not exactly what I was thinking. I'm thinking something like F150 Lariat mirror signals, but perhaps something that could be seen from the front AND the back. Ideally, perhaps at the base, where all that plastic is. I'll photoshop something tonight.
