08' Replacement Bumper?

Hi, I'm new to this site and recently my mom backed into a pole with her car, she asked me if I knew where she could get a bumper replacement for her car. Somebody told her it would be almost 2 grand to replace the bumper, and she figures if shes going to have to pay that much for a stock bumper she might as well get something nicer.

If anybody could point me in a good direction for a bumper with curb appeal I would be grateful.

Also I had made a post awhile back about get lost 4x4 front bumpers. Does anybody know where I could get one, or where I could get one custom made? I live in Erie, PA.

-Thanks

There are only stock bumpers off the shelf available for the XK. Check Ebay there just the plastic cover and usually come unpainted. Get lost don't make bumpers anymore and none are up for sale all the guys that got one are keeping them. If you want one you need to find you a local fabricator and have him build one. Form what I have read thats sometimes cheaper then replacing the stock one.

Ok, so is there any way that I could get a local fabricator to make me a get lost bumper? If I can how much would that cost/ where would i get the blueprints for him to build one? And there is no way i can get a different bumper than the plastic one?

Where are you located? There is a fabricator in Arizona that can make you one. His shop is called "Stone Soup Metalworks". You can look him up online. I also think that there might be one of the original "Get Lost" rear bumpers available from "A49erfan".

You might try sending him a PM.

Good Luck with your search.

2007 Jeep Green Limited 4.7 Flex Fuel, RR 2.5" 4 inch Superlift coils on rear, 1.5" Spacers, Bridgestone 265/70/17, K&N CAI, Flowmaster, Diamond Plate Locking Trunk, Blue Ox Baseplate w/D-rings, "Get Lost 4X4" Front Bumper, T-Max 9000 winch, "Get Lost rear tire carrier, 30 gal second gas tank.
Second 2007 Jeep Green Limited Leather HEMI QDII VES Uconnect Flowmaster OEM Skids Tow Package

Maybe the two will meet up soon edit: they did , I now have 2,now gave 1 away...and got it back again.

Stone Soup Metal Works has a steel replacment bumper and you can get it for a lot less than you think. Several of us have them so you can check out my garage if you want to see one with the optional tire carrier.

Been awhile since I've been on the forum. I need to replace my front bumper and was wondering what options have emerged.

Thanks in advance.
