elegant but rugged bumper?

i have a 06 commander that i smoothed out and it will never see the offroad, to the purists, i am sorry. but i am looking for some kind of bumper guard that is not a full steel replacement, and doesn't look armored out. anybody have any suggestions???? appreciate it

I think the problem that you will run into is that most of the Jeep bumpers, be it for the XK or not, that looked rugged are just that...rugged. They will lack the fit and finish that you would expect to see on a "smoothed out" rig. I think the best you can hope for is a set of bull bars. Depending on your color scheme you could go chrome or have them painted to match.

a pun intended to all the guys on here who make their commander rugged for off road use. i was joking about how not off road my truck is.
