Painting fender flares?

Anyone ever painted their fender flares? I have a silver XK with the black trim over the rockers, roof rack, and the commander trim on the doors. Not sure if it would look good to have the flares black aswell. Anyone have pics or hae any imput?

Thanks man that helps out a lil. Im also lookin do plasti-dip the raised section of the hood for a muscle car kinda feel. Not sure if doin the hood and the flares would be too much black against the silver

Plasti-dip is definitely the way to go, if you don't like how it looks, it literally peels right off. With a few cans or so, you could try out the look to see if you like how it comes out.
