Whoa, tough decision. I'll eventually need them for my XK so I'm debating between the Dee Zee and Romik. However, I also like the look of the Mopar running boards. Hmm, decisions decisions.

Thanks for the post.

All options are good indeed. The quality of these side steps is on the same highest level.

However, we would recommend you to go with our best seller. Dee Zee side steps will provide you with maximum durability and you won't want to change them. They are the most corrosion resistant and will never crack or bent. Plus, they features the biggest loading capacity.

Please also note that the side steps manufactured by Onki will stick out a little bit, while the side steps manufactured by Dee Zee will fit flush.

Please find the picture of Onki side steps attached.

Very nice! Thanks for the advice. I like the way they look. Will keep that in mind once I'm ready to make a purchase.

Boards or bars? That is the question. I've got an '09 XK Sport with a lift of some sort with JK take-off wheels and tires with 1.25" spacers. I bought it this way and the guy I bought it from couldn't remember what the lift is. I don't mind how much taller it is from stock but my wife is wanting boards or bars to make it a bit easier for her to get in. Some pics and info would be greatly appreciated.

I would definitely recommend to go on with some running boards.
1. They have a wider step surface, and it is much more comfortable to stem in, even with high hills on.
2. They look more solid and flash with our rockers, and don't stick out like regular bars.

There are 2 other good options for 2009 Commander:

Westin® - Sure-Grip Running Boards

and

ATS® - UNI I Series Running Boards

Dee Zee

Purchased dee zee running boards for 2006 jeep commander and brackets are way off . The instructions are for a Cherokee. Does the bottom cladding have to come off . Don't know Dee Zee says bracket will not fit a Commander. Am I doing something wrong?

What is the part number of the mounting brackets that you use, and have you purchased them from CARiD? I will check if this application is good for the 2006 Commander.

I called your tech center and Dee Zee tech. They Do not make a bracket for the commander. All the vendors selling Dee Zee for the commander must change the info.
