Removing Amber under headlight?

Do you think any aftermarket company will make a clear glass piece to get rid of the long amber turn signal beneath the headlight? I think it would make the front look much cleaner, particulaly on black jeeps. Or is it possible to go in and remove the amber reflectors (I did this back on my 00 wj)?

Re: Removing Amber under headlight?

You could see about order a headlight from a Euro-spec Commander:

But beware, some states with annual safety inspections may not pass a vehicle that doesn't have amber front turn indicators.

Re: Removing Amber under headlight?

Thats exactly what I want and was wondering if the Eurojeeps had them. Now I just have to find a place to buy them...

Re: Removing Amber under headlight?

it looks like you cant just change the amber part... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jeep-...52977457QQrdZ1
seems like the amber part is actually connected to the main headlight.

Re: Removing Amber under headlight?

Hmm, that would be annoying to have to buy the entire headlight assembly...

Re: Removing Amber under headlight?

I emailed a jeep dealer in london. Will post any responses. I informed them that there is a large group of us here in the states looking for them and gave them this website in hopes of a response. Maybe try doing this to different dealers in u.k.
