Auxiliary Backup Lights

Anyone installed additional backup lights on their XK wired to the existing backup lights?

I've found this invaluable in the past. Would like to get some ideas or see some pics if you've done it.

I installed some 3457 GE nighthawk bulbs in place of the factory 3157 bulbs, and that helped.

This would be a good idea. Can you post some pics on how to and what type of lighting did your guys installed and use?

Rigid makes flush mount lights. They would look pretty good in our bumpers IMHO. There are other similar cheaper options of course.

A lot of guys install a different style on their racks.

I've been debating a rack. I really don't *need* one particularly bad. I can put my canoe on the existing rack and if I'm loaded up on gear for a camp out I just bring a small cargo trailer anyway.

That said, it would look great and be a perfect place to mount some lights.

I had a Kargomaster Bushman rack on my old ZJ and that was a damn solid rack.

That looks really nice, any idea how much does it cost?

Here is an example.

For reverse, you want the flood diffused in my opinion. I have a set of Rigid D2 Flood Diffused I use for fill along with my Rigid SR 20" Combo light bar. Awesome combo.

I'm also considering this light option. One of these mounted on the back would be plenty for most situations.
