Sylvania Silverstar Headlamp upgrade

i had a pair installed on my previous 2002 grand cherokee overland and was very happy with them. i'm going to pick up a pair for my commander limited tomorrow. i think the models are the same for both grand cherokee and commander, 9006st for low and 9005st for high i believe. anyone using them on their commander?

just finished installing the silverstar low beam 9006st. definitely happy with it, just as bright without the ugly old yellow.

Re: Sylvania Silverstar Headlamp upgrade

I have ran the sealed beam version of the Silverstars in my Cherokee for several years now and am very happy from them.

I have seen that, the replacement bulb version of the Silverstars give even a better performance increase. Not quite HIDs but the closest you will get with a replacement bulb.

Why DCX hasn't yet offered HID or LED lighting on Jeeps is a bit odd.
