Installed Thule Evolution on Standard Rails

This weekend i did it and installed the Thule box. I posted and searched trying to find out what people did and came up with only one solution and that was replacing the roof rack cross bars. well at the tune of $400 i wasn't about to do that. so i went an made a 1/4" notch out of the stock rails and the U-bolts fit perfectly and the box is secure and IMO a lot sturdier as it has absolutely no chance of sliding side to side. I also figure i didn't take anything away from the strength and structure by doing this so that is why i opted for this route. Here is a quick pic and i will take more!

You'll have to show us a picture of the modification.

Looks good.

I'd probably just use some u channel and bolts to make some low pro rails and bolt it down the the channels in the roof.
