Running Bars/Side Steps

My wife has a 2013 Grand Cherokee Overland. She HATED the side step rails, and had me remove them.

WILL they fit on my 2006 Commander Limited???? How much modifications?? Do they cause issues? I dont see very many with them.

Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne said of the Jeep Commander, "That vehicle was unfit for human consumption. We sold some. But I don't know why people bought them"

That attitude is why Fiat was failing....

2011+ Grand Cherokee would be the 4th gen WK2 and not 3rd gen WK which what the Commander XK is based on. Some WK items fit the XK. WK2 items would probably not fit. You could probably hack and whack them to fit tho...

I dont know if they fit, but......

My '07 Commander has side steps / running boards. down side is if youve been anywhere messy or muddy they are the best way to get your legs or trousers dirty (even if only driven on wet winter roads) when you get out of the Jeep.
Plus side is though they make it easier to load onto the roof bars/ rails/basket/box.
