removing 65th edition badge on doors?

Hi, looking to remover the 65th edition badge on the doors.

what is the best way? will it just pop off? do i need to worry about hurting the paint?

I 2nd that... I used dental floss the first night we brought the XK home. It was very handy to remove the dealership emblem. I hate promoting stuff for anyone like that...

I completely debadged shortly after I got my XK.

I used fishing line. It also helps to use a hair dryer to warm up the badge.

Use heavy line. Don pry if you can help it. You can damage the paint. I used goop off to get the extra glue off.

I also recommend the waxed dental floss and heat gun combination for best results.

Yep yep! I agree with above. Not sure the color of your XK but I noticed my friends 2008 Dodge Truck with was inferno red had some issues where the paint seemed to be lighter where the badging was. BUT this has been the only time I have seem something like that and his truck was special ordered so who knows.

Thanks for the tips. it is currently 20 degrees here in MI so maybe ill wait for a warmer day. mine is silver. i just think the 65th badge dates the vehicle as they only did it in 2006.
