[WTB] pre-N23 recall FDCM

Hi all,

So I have the normal 'Service 4WD' / no 4LO demons from the N23 recall. After countless hours researching long-term solutions I've come to the conclusion that the best possible solution is to replace my N23-flashed FDCM with a FDCM that hasn't received the N23 kiss of death

If anyone has one for a 2007 4.7 QDII Liberty, please shoot me a message or email ([email protected]). Even if someone could just provide me with the correct FDCM # it would be MUCH appreciated.

Have you tried the latest flash version for that recall? They addressed the issue and my 4wd low has worked ever since. See post #28 in this thread: N23 Recall Updated Flash Version

No, I haven't had the re-flash done - I've been keeping up to date with the latest flash updates on Jeepforum.com and a lot of guys are saying that the reflash fails after a while. I want a proper solution, and a pre-N23 recall FDCM seems to be the only solution I can find

fed up with chrysler...maybe

I was tired of the Service 4WD message that is common after the N23 recall also so I called the dealer. They gave me the run around that I need to replace the transfer motor. BS! As a response, I wrote to Chrysler explaining my frustration and how I will never buy one of their products again... They wrote back the next day apologizing by saying that they are aware of this problem and they have a new update to fix the problem from the N23 recall. Taking my rig in later this week to see if it actually works. Im surprised that Chrysler admitted to messing up. We will see the result.

Sorry for the off topic, but mind sharing that reply either in the above mentioned section and post and/or via a private message?

My dealer also denies any problem or wrong doing and will not touch the jeep unless I sign off on the work our of pocket, and ONLY if they admit it was their problem will I be compensated ( yeah, right).

The July re-flash is supposedly working for the majority. If it fails, the actuator has to be replaced.
