Trouble removing Air Box assembly on the 4.7L

Hi, I am finally getting around to installing my K&N CAI for my 4.7L, but I ran into some trouble trying to get the bottom portion of the air box out. The instructions say to remove a bolt from the bottom, however, mine does not appear to have a bolt in there...Also, there is a metal strap hanger connected to the side of the lower air box assembly, connecting it the inner wall of the engine bay. Any ideas on how to get it outta there? I tried to simply man-handle it and pull, but nothing budged...I'm not sure what is holding it down. Help appreciated. Thanks guys!

Update

For those of you who have the 4.7L and buy a K&N intake, the bolt to remove the airbox isn't where the instructions say it is. This might seem obvious to some people, but it took me a little while to find it. It is located behind the lower portion of the air box, underneath the coolant reservoir. You will probably have to loosen the coolant reservoir a little in order to get a tool down there to remove the bolt.

I just changed out the stock air box for the K&N today. Took 90 minutes.

I have the 08 4.7 flex fuel. I didn't have to remove the coolant reservoir to get to the nut holding the airbox down, but I did have to remove the reservoir to get the bottom half of the airbox out.

Everything was pretty straight forward, and I followed the advice of using the online instructions over the ones included in the kit. The online are more thorough and you can zoom in on the pictures to make them larger.

I did encounter one issue. After starting the commander, and letting it idle for about 5 minutes, I moved it from my back yard to my front yard. That was all it took to throw the CEL. I checked the code with my OBD-II reader and it gave me P0113.

P0113=Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor High.

I did replace the air temp sensor into the K&N and did plug it back in.

Any suggestions?

I reset the CEL using my ODB II reader and it has remained off since.

Now the big news...... over 21 MPG !!!!!

(Highway driving at 70mph)
