Intakes fitting new 2010 5.7

New forum member. Am buying a new 5.7 Ltd. In looking for intake, exhaust, etc. the fitment listings often don't include 2010. Are there any differences among the model years for a 5.7 commander? Can I safely get an intake and exhaust and have it fit? I am leaning toward the Gibson system and an AFE CAI.

Thanks!

There are no changes from previous years relative to fitment of these components.

Factory part numbers stayed the same so the items you are considering should be OK.

The AFE intake fit, but only after filing/dremeling metal from the intake housing, plastic from edge of the coolant reservoir and canting the lower intake box slightly forward. Love the intake. Nice dry filter. More intake growl with acceleration.

The Gibson 617401 is a very nice piece. Full 3 in. pipes. Fit was perfect. Now I can hear the V8!

Now just have to decide on a handheld tuner.

I second drfeelgood's info on the afe. Not a bad install but if you get one you have to notch out the coolant tank. The cutting doesn't appear to be anywhere that would make the mount weaker. A dremmel helps.
