AirRam 4.7 Intake Manifold Swap

Hey Everyone,

So i'm looking into swapping a 08+ intake manifold onto my 06 Commander's 4.7. The 08+ intake has shorter runners and makes alot more power than the previous years. I know that I need the throttle body adapter which AirRam has, and the intake will bolt right on. AirRam states that you need to buy an 08+ EGR for the intake. So just a new EGR valve? Is that it? Its my only vehicle so I dont want any unforseen problems that will leave my without it.

Thanks!

This is truly a great mod! The 2011 intake manifold is worth 25+ on a 1999-2002 4.7L and about 15-20 on a 2003-2007 4.7L engine... Its the best factory 4.7L Intake manifold hands down.

If anyone has any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.

Interesting. Short intake runners is typically a tradeoff of low end torque for high end HP though.
