contacted K&N

called K&N today. they do not list an intake for the 07, 4.7 L. told them per this forum, the 06 is the same...........recd an e-mail from their tech support. the forum is correct and they will up-date the application charts!!! Thanks everyone.........ordered the 63-1548 intake today!

I did have to do a slight mod for it to work. Did they mention that you would have to extend the hose?

what changed from 06 to 07? I thought they made changes in 08.

What did you have to mod? And what hose needs to be extended?

The hose that goes to the air filter box is removed and on the 06 there is a T connection that the 07 dosent have where you would connect it too the intake.. Cant explain it too good so I will take a pic instead. Sorry

here is the problem and the fix:
breather hose will not connect to the CAI intake. breather hose extends past the intake. FIX: purchase a 1/2 connector and 12 inches of 1/2 hose. remove "plastic" breather hose from the rear of the engine. insert 1/2 connector in its place. connect the 12 inches of 1/2 hose to the other end of the connector and route remaining hose to the CAI and connect,
