Intake Kit for 5.7

I cant leave well enough alone!

Is an in take kit worth the money for a Hemi?

I want jut a bit more power and like the idea of a the washable filter.

I dont want to get into heavy mods cause of the warranty.

I always add KN filters but the difference is... well.. you know...not noticed!

What about an full intake/open air filter? I know some guys have cut their factory box but don't want to hack the new Jeep.

Thanks

The factory box mod will be better in isolating engine hot air from being sucked in but...

More intake air requires less restrictive output. Then in the hot months you will need to isolate the intake from engine hot air and probably insulate your intake tube.

Then when pressing the throttle fully to accelerate (WOT) and get the fastest 0-60 mph you'll notice a lag in response as the gear shifts from 2nd to intermediate 3rd and then it kicks up. You can fix this probably by a hypertech hyperpac programmer, otherwise, you'll need to shift manually by tapping on the stick.

Enjoy!
