Air Box removal

I searched for this thread about modifying the air box I read awhile back couldnt find it.

Well I got the air box out of the truck but I can't get the front snorkle out to pop off the front cover of it. I am tired of 14mpg even with drop in KN filter. So my truck has finally come off of warrenty and ready to mod it a lil.

What is the secret with out breaking it.

Air box is out, just having problems with the front that collects the air. Pulling it harder doesn't seem to be the solution. Gas is down but I still have to make a 12 hour trip next month so every extra bit of MPG i can squeeze will be worth it.

FInally got it out by popping the rivets on the top of it and then the bottom broke off with a nice tug afterwards. I will post up any change in MPG.
