Jeep preventative maintenance -what's essential?
This is for those of you who have had Jeeps for several years and can recommend what preventative maintenance is essential.
I have a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 Laredo. It has 42,000 miles.
So far, I have changed oil and filter every 3000 miles. Flushed the transmission at 39000 miles.
Changed front brake pads and rotors at 40000 miles.
Replaced Goodyear "factory" tires with Michelin Cross-Terrains. Rotate/Balance tires every 6 months.
Changed air filter every 12000 miles.
With 42,000 miles on the vehicle, are there any other "essential" preventative maintenance items I should take care of? Should I flush brake and power steering fluids? Should I do a coolant flush? What about a rear differential service? Is a "tune-up" necessary--or just a waste of money?
I want to keep this as a daily driver for another 3 or 4 years...
