Surprise water leak!

Got into my Commander yesterday and started to drive out of my drive way. All of a sudden water leaks out of my 2 roof supports on driver and passenger sides from the caps onto the dash and both doors. I got to think this has to do with my sun roof. It rained all day Friday.

sounds like your sunroof drains are clogged, do a search there is a step by step fix on this board.

When you are driving, and as you turn, if you hear a sound like water running through a plastic pipe, this would indicate clogged sunroof drains. Water is trapped in the trough that surrounds the roof.

I use the canned compressed air and have adapted a long tube to the tube that comes with the can to clean mine out. Had my commander since 06 and had to do this 3 or 4 times. Dealer charged $100 to do it the first time.
