What is the pinch weld where is it at

what is the pinch weld and where is it at what is the most common thing to do to this pinch weld to get a lil bit more clearance i wanna run 2.25 in lift and 1.5 in spacers and 31's is this possible with-out doing anything to this "pinchweld" and is any-one in michigan if so where at we should try to get some kind of trip to silverlake or something

Pinch weld is in the rear of the wheel well behind the plastic liner. If you remove the inner fender you can pound the weld flat, and then reshape the plastic to give you more clearance. I just cut the plastic out and pounded it flat. Either way works, I just got tired of the tire rubbing. With 31s depending on tread type, you probably will not have to do this.
