Time to move on

Hi all!. It's been a while since I have posted anything, but felt I should say "bye" as we have traded our Commander in. I have appreciated the info and entertainment from this forum. We have had our Commander from 2007 and it's been a great vehicle. The offer from the dealer to trade it in and fuel savings on the new Jeep was too great to pass up. We have decided to downsize as our needs have changed since we bought our Commander new in '07.We are staying true to Jeep as we like the product and have bought a 2012 Compass Latitude. I know it's not a "true" Jeep as were my previous Jeeps,( '97 TJ, '05 KJ and '07 XK) but it's better than the competitors cross-overs. I will stop by from time to time as I love the stores and pics provided by the members here. Thanks! It's a great forum! - 43

Your post prompted me to check out Compass Latitudes. Pretty cool, and like the styling. Did you get 4 wheel drive? If so I would call it "True Jeep" also.

XKDRIVER, absolutely it is 4wd, and can have the 4wd "locked" in 50/50 split. They have a Trail Rated version, but the option is pricey and puts the price close to a Liberty. Our Commander had the QT1, this is similar.-43
