Service 4WD System

So I have had the dreaded "service 4wd system" and "Service Park Assist" Error in the EVIC. Went to jeep got the DTC error C140A - Transfer Case Motor Performance. They wnnted to replace the Transfer Case Motor. I told them to hold back. Have a friend that also has a commander. We took my Transfer Case Motor Out and put it in his Car and it WORKS. We tried his motor in mine and its not working. Thinks its something electrical. Any ideas and suggestions whatand where to look for ? Car is a2006 Jeep Commander 5.7 with 63000km

I have a similar but far from identical issue right now found on this thread: https://www.jeepcommander.com/forums/...ad.php?t=18152

I will definitely let you know how it pans out an it may provide some insight for you.

My particular issue looks like a simple fix. Could be wheel speed sensor, an alignment issue, break switch half stuck...

Anyways, I put it in the shop this morning and will update my thread when I have the official word what the problem is/ was...
