Question Where is the access panel in an 06 Commander?

I have the fairly common "Liftgate open" message that from what I have read can usually be fixed by jiggling the wiring harness or performing the maintenance bulletin steps to reverse the switch pins. But - all the posters refer to popping off the plastic access panel visible once you fold the rear seats down. My interior panels are solid plastic, floor to ceiling, rear wheel well back to the lift gate on both sides, no obvious access panels. Anyone have any ideas how I can access the liftgate wiring harness in my 2006 Commander?
Thanks!

The only thing you should have to remove is the liftgate panel.

The access panel they are referring to is a small panel in the middle of the liftgate.
