Does it Float?

Does anyone have any experience with Jeep Commanders and Off Road Floating?
Being that here in DFW we are mostly under water, I was just curious.

Re: Does it Float?

They all float if the water gets high enough. Water weights more than the tires and the empty space inside of the vehicle. If you displace enough of it, you can hoist your sails until enough water seeps into the interior cabin and then the vehicle will turn into a submarine. Best advise is don't let the water get higher than the rocker panel without donning your life vest.

Re: Does it Float?

And maybe some fins to the wheels... is that an option? Maybe some plastic and duct tape to seal the doors.

RIP - Silver '06 Limited; 5.7 Hemi; 2" TerraFlex Lift; 255/70R17 Bridgestone Dueler REVOS, Horizontal Inclinometer, Signal Frog Antenna Ball, Surco Safari 50"x50" Roof Rack, GetLost4x4 bumper, Bulldog 9k Winch, GetLost4x4 Rock Rails - (should have added a snorkel)
