ORT8 (Off Road Technology) vs SRT8

Read on another forum that Jeep engineers are possibly working on an ORT Off Road Technology version of the 4x4's. Don't know if it would be called ORT or something else but the Jeep would have I guess what amounts to a off road package like the Rubicon. If the ORT were to be as popular as the SRT package I'd imagine they'd use it corporate wide. What do you think, great idea or gimmick?

Re: ORT8 (Off Road Technology) vs SRT8

Would be silly to use it corporate wide... who takes a Chrysler 300 off road.

I could see it winding up on the Dodge pickups but thats about it. Putting it on the Nitro and the Durango would put them in direct competion with the Jeeps.

I do like the idea of having a Rubicon-like vehicle (more ground clearance, bigger tires, heavy duty driveline, lockers, etc.) for each Jeep.

That would be 4x4 corporate wide, the 300 can be bought in all wheel drive not 4x4.
