06 commander rear end

hello all, I was wondering if some one could tell me how i can find the code or figure out what rear end i have in my 2006 commander V6 besides taking the VIN# to a dealer.

Hello,

It is a Chrysler 8.25" with 3.07 ring and pinion.

Unless you are one of the very rare few with a V-6 with 4 low/high QT-II that came stock with 3.55's. If so, you will have a tiny "T" shaped lever near the gear stick to turn on 4 Low.

thanks for letting me know what rear end i have BUT.... how would i find out myself. such as where is the code. or is there a tag on the rear end or would i have to take off the back cover.

There's a sticker on mine that has numbers including the gear ratio on it.

Seems like it's on the side of one of the brackets. I would go look but it's too cold and wet outside right now!
