I dont see any comparison here at all. The potential ford flex is crossover vehicle more akin to a minivan with a v-6 engine. The commander is a true 4WD Utility vehicle and in the case of the overland comes std. with the HEMI engine. JOHN

As others have said, the Ford Flex is not really a competitor against the Commander. But if you must compare -- the Commander wins hands down in comfort, luxury, and off-road capabilities while the Flex wins on fuel economy.

It's not a bad looker. I have a fondness in my heart for Ford even though I have the Magnum and Commander in my stable. All the Fords I have ever owned were good vehicles.

I suspect it will sell well.
