Hey, Guys. I scratched, scuffed my passenger side mirror housing the other day on a brick column going thru a drive-thru. Does anyone know any tricks to minimize the damage ? Ways to make it less visible ?

Re: Scuffed Mirror Help ?

I had a scuff on the passager side and I put lighter fluid on a rag and rubbed off the excess. You can buy colored wax in black and that will help hide it too. I don't think either of these things will hurt your mirror so you might give it a try. It worked pretty well on mine.

Re: Scuffed Mirror Help ?

My vehicle had been scraped by something white, so the lighter fluid was simply a solvent to get the white color out of the scrape. If you don't have a color scrape you may not need to mess with it.
I've had the black wax for awhile, but I think I purchased it a Walmart or O'Reillys.
