08 Commander Limited interior

I stopped by the dealer yesterday to check out an 08 Commander. I was very impressed by the dark, almost black leather interior. It looks so much better than the grey interiors of the last couple of years. Very rich looking with the woodgrain dash trim and the black carpet and dash. The headliner is still grey which is nice as it's not too dark inside. They even added a little bright trim piece on the storage area above the glove compartment. It's funny how just the right colors can change the whole feel. The armrest was leather covered also.
The local dealer is offering $10,000 off any new 07 Limiteds in stock. That is really going to affect the resale for us Commander owners. I am going to wait until late next summer or early fall and shop slightly used 08 Limiteds or Overland models. Good or bad their are some really good deals on Commanders.

Re: 2008 Interior

The local South Bay Dealers here are offering $12K off remaining 2007's and one dealer in Sunnyvale still has a few 2006's left. He's advertising $13K off those. -SF

Here in New Orleans they are offering 11k off of 07s. They have an 07 loaded with Hemi for 28k. Almost tempted to get it. It's what I want, but I'm in a good place now. Plus, the wife would flip if I traded in another car...lol

When I ordered my 06 base with U package a couple years ago I paid about $32K. It's hard to believe what you can buy a Limited with a Hemi for now.

At 28k its hard to imagin anyone not buying. Heck, thats getting close to a kia for crying out loud. If I wasnt buying a new home this year I'd buy it for our second vehicle and just use my TJ offroad. john
