Will Jeep wrangler rims fit on jeep commander properly without modification to the wheel studs?

And that depends on the year of the Wrangler, if you're talking a 20 year old Wrangler, the above probably doesn't apply.

The brake calipers moves inward as the pads wear, so when you put on a new set of pads the caliper will moved outward toward the wheel. That was mentioned on the above thread, with new pads the caliper will scrape the inside of the JK wheel.

Like mentioned, you could get a wheel spacer or you could grind off some of the new pad to make it thinner when you go to replace them.

07+ Wranglers are 5x5 and fit. The 18" Sahara wheels should fit all XK/WK's with no issues. The 17" wheels often rub a bit on the break caliper on an xk/wk and this can be alleviated fairly easily, as mentioned by Mongo.

Wheel stud mods are not necessary.
