removing inside lift gate panel

Has anyone taken off the lift gate inside panel. I'm considering putting in a backup camera.

I took mine off to add the chrome liftgate handle. There's a mixture of screws and plastic fasteners that snap in.

I did the same as YB, just make sure you're careful with the plastic snaps. If you ruin one, make sure to get a replacement, or your back panel will not be 100% secure. ALSO - don't be stupid like me and forget to unplug the light that's on the inside of the tailgate. You have to remove the plastic lens before pulling the panel off.

All in all, it's not hard. I'm not remotely useful with stuff like this, and I did it in about 20 minutes (complete tailgate handle assembly and all). Good Luck.
