replace air filter 2007 jeep commander

Does anyone know how to replace the air filter on a 2007 jeep commander. It doesn't look like the lid comes off, there are no clips or latches. just 1 bolt on each side of housing unit

On my 2010 3.7L V6, there are two clips on the front edge of the air box, there is an opening in the valence at the front of the engine bay to reach around and get to the clips and open them and open the lid on the Air Box.

Perhaps its changed over the years, but its worth a look at what I just described. The clips fold under the upper edge when they are closed, so they are easy miss.
