Pinstriping from trails?

Guys,

So who has had the privilege of getting pinstriped while on a trail? How hard was it to rub out or fix?

2008 Jeep Green Rocky Mountain 4x4 4.7L, 245/65 R17 Fortera's,
class IV tow package w/shackle, front tow hooks, remote start,
MyGig w/backup cam, bun warmers, commandview, QTII,
Rocky Road Super Sliders (now installed and tested!), no lift, full Jeep OEM skid plates,
4xGuard Belly Guard, 4xGuard front skid, Surco 50 x 70 roof rack.

I got Arizona pinstripping the first time out. Mostly it just was in the clearcoat and rubbed out easily.

The road rash that I got from pushing over the tree to turn around when Phunkeydude broke would have required touch up paint if I had not covered it with bed liner.

2007 Jeep Green Limited 4.7 Flex Fuel, RR 2.5" 4 inch Superlift coils on rear, 1.5" Spacers, Bridgestone 265/70/17, K&N CAI, Flowmaster, Diamond Plate Locking Trunk, Blue Ox Baseplate w/D-rings, "Get Lost 4X4" Front Bumper, T-Max 9000 winch, "Get Lost rear tire carrier, 30 gal second gas tank.
Second 2007 Jeep Green Limited Leather HEMI QDII VES Uconnect Flowmaster OEM Skids Tow Package

Maybe the two will meet up soon edit: they did , I now have 2,now gave 1 away...and got it back again.

What did you use to rub it out?

As long as it is just the clearcoat you can use your favorite cleaner/wax. The clearcoat turns white when scratched but returns to clear with a rub out. If it is deeper then you might need a rubbing compound, but use it carefully and probably with a hand rub instead of using a buffer unless you know how to avoid too much pressure.

I have soooooo much Arizona Pin striping it is unbelievable. I did purchase a buffer from Harbor Freight but have not used it yet. It looks like it is limited to the clear coat.

Had a lot on my ZJ, but never attempted to fix it. It was a "JEEP" in all aspects.

Now, the Commander... no scratches. If there were, they'd be waxed immediately.
