Off Road Beach - OBX

Went on our annual family trip to OBX NC. It is always a good time wheeling on the beach to see some wild horses.

In 4 LO with a HEMI, it crawls over everything. Not one issue. I pulled two people out who got stuck in the dunes.

Cool pics Core.

Florida's National Forest roads are notorious for large patches of sugar sand.

I've been through some really deep patches of it on numerous occasions and never had a problem.

If I found anyone stuck in the dunes at the OBX, they would stay there until the Ranger arrested them. I hope I am misinterpreting your message.

There are certain areas that are restricted for specific reasons. I only help people out of the areas they are allowed to travel lol

Maybe the confusion is in the translation. The beach is were you should drive and play, the dunes are protective structures either man made or created by nature that protect the inland during high water conditions(tide or storm) and should only be accessed where permitted. People who violate the rules are the reason for more and more beach being closed to ORVs.
