New WK trying to be an XK

Just read about the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk (see here). Sounds to me like they are trying to fill the gap left by discontinuing the Commander, when really they should just resurrect the Commander.

They should bring it back. The only super change I would do would be to make the 2" lift standard and increase tire size to the 265/70/R17 for the default rubber.

The new 8.4AN radio kit would be nice, and the Durango seats.

Other than that the Cher.... errr Commander would be their best seller... again.

I will always firmly believe the Commander was the new Cherokee.

I'm not impressed with this.

And I agree, they should just bring the Commander back.
