Windshield Replacement, 08' Commander, OVLD

Anyone ever replaced a commander windshield themselves?

I'm getting ready to replace my windshield (Rock Damage), and the rubber along the bottom attached to the cowling is damaged. So while at the parts dept, a piece of trim is listed for the top edge, but no picture of it. I ordered it and the damaged lower one.

I have replaced other windshields, but not a Commander.

Found a picture of the seal, see page 2.

From the noise issues, maybe I should leave the top seal off.

Not to doubt your skill, but these modern windshields tend to be a major pain to get out (I've seen repairmen just about chisel them out), then have to be sealed just right to keep structural integrity.
Older windshields I'd say go for it new ones I'm too chicken.

If you do diy it I'd love to know how difficult the job is
