Public Apology to my Customers

I am sorry i have not been taking the best care of everyone. i appreciate your patience. i know i'm not the easiest to get a hold of, i know i have not been able to get all your parts done as fast as i would like. i'm alittle burned out, its not your fault, its my own. i'm setting myself a better schedule, i'm trying to get my wife up to speed on jeep parts.

i promise to change stuff next year. i have a ton of ideas to build and sell. as long as you are willing to spend the cash. It has been very hard to design parts sometimes, easy others. I'm trying to build quality parts that look good and function well.

I promise to do better, i hope you'll forgive me and not kill me. This is my first business, and i'm still ironing stuff out.

We look forward to a better 2009. We are looking into some loans to help build a shop and buy some better equipment, but banks are not really in a lending mood right now.

go here for upcoming parts (not all are listed, i'm a little slow at the web design stuff still.) as you can see at the bottom of the page.

No worries from my end, Ross.

Having owned my own small business a while back, I know the headaches of doing everything to keep it going. Suddenly your "craft" becomes only half the business, the rest is staying up late doing paperwork, administrative stuff and the worst - collecting money from people who don't pay. I am currently an employee of a small company, and much happier for it.

On a different note, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ME!! A package came to my office from Cody, WY just before Christmas. But Ross, I think you could have wrapped it better - I can totally tell what it is...

I don't think a public apology was necessary. Being an original customer of GetLost, I've had nothing but good communication and personal, over-the-top customer service. Any issues I've had have been resolved in a timely manner.

I'm grateful that I was able to get my bumper installed by the professional. I would have been crazy to try and do it myself. The more mechanically inclined could probably handle it, but it was well out of my range of expertise.

I have heard nothing but positive things on this board about you and your business. I don't think you need to apologize. Nothing worth doing is easy. Hang in there. We need your products and services (I am still saving up for my bumper!)

I agree with the above but also I commend you on being your own critic and saying hey, I am backing up and I am sorry before the forums tore you apart. Bring proactive is a important part of running a business. The 4x4 shop that did my lift for me (was trying to help a friend of a friend whose business was failing) downfall was the fact he wouldn't be proactive about any issues he had. Since then aka hit rock bottom, he had managed to become humble and his business has been rebuilding slowly but surely. Unfortunately he has a bad rep now.

That being said... I commend you on your commitment to a good business model good luck and may your business continue to grow.

thanks guys.

i'm finally all caught up. i finally finished my friends bronco. i hope to start getting more parts out there.

if you have problems with your parts. please contact me, we do our best to fix anything, i appreciate feedback as well, we are working to upgrade things and make them work better.

i've decided not to drill holes on bumpers for winch mounts anymore. we have had a few issues with the holes being wrong for other winches fitting correctly other then t-max winches.

if you have problems let me know, i'll help and work through them.

thanks, i appreciate all your business.
