Factory tow package

My 2007, 4.7 has the factory tow package. There is a button on the dash with some tow function indicated. What does this do? Does it stop the transmission from shifting into overdrive? Or disable the lockup converter?

@Carbuff , the tow/haul button keeps the transmission from shifting frequently and disables overdrive. This info is in the Owner's Manual.
