Cargo Cover question....

OK, so I managed to by one the the "elusive" Commander cargo covers.. Question is, how does it mount to the rear area? Are there any holders/mounts that attach to the car that this slides into or is it something that was built into certain years? I Have an 06 and don't seem to have any mounts for the cover.

I'm trying to envision what you're talking about, but, I can't picture a Commander cargo cover; Honestly, I don't think I've heard of one before;

Can you post a couple of pics so I can see what it looks like?

I don't know what you bought but it wasn't a Commander cargo cover. There were never any made for the Commander. The one in the link in Legofan's previous comment is a Grand Cherokee cover.

My previous vehicle - an '08 Grand Cherokee (WK) had one of those. I didn't know it was referred to as a cargo cover though.

Well, I got it from someone that said it was from a Commander, at this point I might just accept it as being from a Grand Cherokee and just try to sell it. Oh well, I thought it would be nice to have on the Commander.

My 4Runner has one, it's totally legit. I wish the XK had one honestly.

I agree, it would be nice to cover what ever is back there and keep it out of view. Thieves are less likely to break in if they can't see anything valuable.
