Exclamation Need Surf Racks and alarm

I just picked up a 2006 Commander and I need to put a surfboard rack on it and an alarm. I dont have the factory crossbars but could buy them , it seems Yakima dosent have anything that fits in the factory rails and I was not impressed with Thule solution, So any Suggestions???. I also need an alarm and would prefer a simple factory solution that just covers the doors and cuts out the ignition and works with the stock remote keyless entry... Any input would be appreciated
Thanks in advance

For the racks, I would look for a set of factory crossbars on ebay or wherever, then use a set of soft racks. I've been using that for a couple of years now. My 06 came with the crossbars, and (east coast) soft racks have a pad, covered with fabric and a cinch. If you don't need to lock the board it works fine.

I have a Viper alarm system on my other car, and it seems to work fairly well. It gets it's share of false trips, usually set off by cars passing by with extremely loud exhaust or loud stereo systems. It takes a good jolt to trip it if you hit the body of the car, and it seems to trip much easier if you tap the windows. The key fobs were junk though. Both of them broke within about 2 or 3 years of having it installed.
