Auto rear hatch

My new commander rear hatch would work some times, but most of the time it would unlock and then just lock back. Going back to a dealer is often disapointing so I decided to take a stab at fixing it. The inside button had the same response as the remote, so I knew it had to be in the electronics or the mechanical. When I unlatched it by hand, it seemed there was a little hang and I suspected the latch just need to be adjusted. Positioned it where it was not hanging, and the loosest position thinking this would give it the best chance to work but it still would not lift. Decied to set it tight and see what would happen. Worked perfect. I guess the snap of the pressure releive is necessay to triger the lift mechanism. Just pass that alone it anyone has trouble adjusting theirs.
